About the Company:

Our client is a leading residential developer dedicated to delivering high-quality RC frame apartments across London. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Manager to join their team in West London.

The Project:-

Multi-phased residential development with another 8 years minimum. Mixture of residential blocks ranging from 6 storey to 24 storeys, the majority of the properties are for private sale, with some HA and communal facilities, as well as commercial units.

Role Overview:

As a Technical Manager, you will oversee the technical design process from planning through to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality residential developments. You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical design process for RC frame residential developments.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to produce detailed designs that meet building regulations and client specifications.

• Ensure designs adhere to current health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Oversee technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Manage and resolve design-related issues during construction, providing technical support to site teams.

• Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to secure necessary approvals.

• Work closely with the construction and commercial teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within the residential development sector.

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction.

• Familiarity with building regulations, NHBC standards, and other relevant legislation.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring technical excellence.

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
