​Senior Quantity Surveyor – Market Leading Residential Developer
Location: South East London
Salary: £75,000 to £90,000p/a plus package

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor with a residential developer in South East London offers a competitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £90,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This position entails managing cost-related aspects of residential projects, particularly focusing on RC Frame apartments within a substantial development of approximately 500 units in South East London over the next couple of years.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.​

• Overseeing procurement processes and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.​

• Conducting valuations, variations, and final accounts.​

• Providing cost reporting and risk assessments to senior management.​

• Collaborating with project teams to ensure financial efficiency.​

• Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.​

• Managing and supporting junior members of the commercial team.​

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.​

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within residential development.​

• RC Frame experience

• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.​

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.​

• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office.​
