​Managing Quantity Surveyor / £100,000 + Travel Allowance + Bonus / Kent / Leading Residential Developer

Kenna Recruitment is working with a Tier 1 Main Contactor currently searching for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their division based in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a brand-new project along a well-established team committed to excellence with a highly stable pipeline of work

About the Role:

You will be leading the project which will be a residential/commercial mix regarding the project costs and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your responsibilities will include procurement, payments, valuation, and supporting Health and Safety administration. The role will see your involvement with large scale schemes of upwards of 500 units.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Preparing and approving subcontract enquiry lists.

·         Issue detailed and compliant tender packs.

·         Evaluate returned tenders to ensure accuracy and compliance.

·         Provide detailed cost breakdowns for land acquisition packs.

·         Oversee all project processes.

The ideal Candidate will have the following:

·         Prior experience working for a residential developer/main contractor.

·         Willingness to learn and grow within a company

·         Be a current Managing Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step up.
