We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Pre-Construction Manager to join our growing team in Yeovil. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization, ensuring that all fire protection projects are planned, designed, and set up for successful execution

Job Purpose:

The Pre-Construction Manager will play a key role in overseeing the planning and preparation stages of fire protection and M&E projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your ability to manage the early stages of a project and ensure all technical, regulatory, and logistical aspects are addressed will be crucial to the success of our operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pre-construction phase for fire protection & M&E projects, ensuring all design, regulatory, and logistical requirements are met.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates in collaboration with internal teams and clients.

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and fire protection standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment of project goals and expectations.

  • Prepare and present detailed project proposals, risk assessments, and technical reports.

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services required for the successful execution of projects.

  • Monitor and resolve any issues during the pre-construction phase to minimise delays and disruptions during the construction phase.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team, ensuring all team members are working efficiently and in line with company goals.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential obstacles and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the pre-construction process.
