​Assistant Technical Coordinator

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £40k + Package

My client is one of the UK's largest Housing Associations currently looking for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join their team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a charitable organisation that goes beyond providing homes and housing services.

This will be a split of office and site based where you will be working on 2 high rise, RC Frame Residential schemes. You will be working alongside a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager.

Role

As Assistant Technical Coordinator you will:

·         Assisting the site team with the appointment and management of consultants and managing allocated project tasks

·         Manage and keeping up to date project information registers and information packs

·         Assisting with technical advice on schemes being considered for purchase and preparing for planning applications

·         Work with Construction colleagues to prepare high quality site logistics plans

·         Review work produced by developers

·         Report progress, including any changes made to the plan

Candidate

Assistant Technical Coordinators applying to this role must have:

·         Previous experience working with a Contractor or Developer in the housing sector or come from an Architectural firm looking to step into client side

·         Ideally worked on RC Frame Residential schemes

·         An understanding of the Building Regulations and renewable technologies

·         Architectural background

·         Good problem-solving, communication and analytical skills

·         Ambitious and willing to learn

·         Project management skills and a high level of computer literacy
