Known for delivering exceptional homes and communities, we are seeking a talented and driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and help ensure commercial success across our projects in the London area.

Job Purpose

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the cost management and commercial performance of residential developments from procurement through to final account. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and the wider commercial and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all cost-related aspects of residential construction projects.

  • Prepare, submit, and agree monthly valuations and variations.

  • Procure and manage subcontractor packages, including tendering and contract administration.

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.

  • Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, and cost reports.

  • Attend regular project and commercial meetings.

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities.

  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.

  • Support the Commercial Manager/Senior QS with strategic commercial decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within residential construction.

  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential development processes.

  • Proven track record of managing budgets and commercial reporting on site.

  • Previous experience working for a residential developer or main contractor

  • Experience with both traditional build and RC frame residential projects.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
