We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our growing team, delivering a mix of live construction projects and high-profile tenders across Hertfordshire, London, and the surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As Senior Construction Planner, you will play a key role in both the pre-construction and delivery phases of multiple residential and commercial projects ranging from £20M to £100M. Working closely with operational teams and clients, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes that ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage tender and construction programmes using ASTA Powerproject or Primavera P6

• Attend pre-construction meetings and contribute to tender submissions with detailed planning input

• Support project teams by monitoring progress, updating programmes, and forecasting risks

• Work collaboratively with estimators, design managers, and site teams to ensure realistic delivery timelines

• Engage with supply chain and subcontractors to validate programme assumptions

• Prepare detailed project reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders

• Contribute to project reviews, helping to identify and resolve planning issues early

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of planning experience within a main contractor environment

• Proven background working across both pre-construction and live site planning

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, particularly within the residential or mixed-use sectors

• Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject or Primavera P6

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

• CSCS card and full UK driving licence
