We have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller to join our team in our new, stunning Head Office in Reading.
As a Document Controller, you will work with the Commercial Director, Technical Director, Document Controllers and the project team to provide a consistent and timely service to the development teams by ensuring that project information/drawings/documentation is managed, communicated, filed and retrievable in accordance with the businesses Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Viewpoint 4Project.
You will be a key member to our team due to how crucial the role is to us and the stage we are at with our projects, and you will be our sole Document Controller in this region.

What you will be doing:
All Document Control relating to the design of the project (Drawings / RFIs / Tech Subs / Sample Schedules)
Work closely with the Design Director, Commercial Director and Project lead
Liaise with members of the design team and sub-contractors on design issues/queries
Work with the site team to provide basic administrative support
Assist the Project Leader in gathering data for monthly progress/forecast reports and collating the final document for issue
Provide weekly/monthly site stat reports to the project manager
Liaise with the Project Lead / Commercial Manager / Design Manager re the co-ordination of O&M manuals
Audit hard copy folders (Design and H&S)
Provide a reporting and feedback function such that senior managers are fully aware of all documentation issues
Ensure that procedures are fully implemented in order to meet requirements of the BMS and other documentation and information systems
Allocate/control document numbering/naming systems for project documentation and carry out data checks on all incoming shared/published documents
Create and customize forms and schedules for site-specific operations
Photocopying / scanning / printing / shredding
Experience/Knowledge:
Main Contractor experience ideally from a Tier 1 background
Construction site-based experience
Good practical experience and application of ISO19650 and PAS 8672
Good level of 4Project admin/user experience
